Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups frozen blackberries

Instructions

  • In a sauce pan add all ingredients.
  • Bring to a bowl, stirring occasionally
  • Reduce heat and simmer 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally
  • Strain into a glass bowl through a fine sieve. Smashing it with a spoon it get all of the juices. Leaving seeds and pith behind.
  • Cool completely. Store in glass bottle or jar in the refrigerator for about a week.
