Ingredients
Jalapeño Simple Syrup
2jalapeno's- thinly sliced with seeds
3/4cupwater
3/4cupgranulated sugar
Spicy Margarita:
2ouncesfresh lime juice
3ouncesjalapeno simple syrup
2ouncestequila
3ouncesfresh orange juice
Ice
Optional Garnishes:
Tajin for the rim
Sliced jalapenos
Lime wedge
sugar/salt for the rim
Instructions
Make the jalapeno simple syrup
Combine syrup ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat.
Stir until sugar has dissolved. Cover and allow to cool completely. If desired, strain out jalapeno slices when storing.
Prepare your glasses
Drag a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip into the tajin, salt, or sugar.
Make your margarita
Combine all your margarita ingredients in your cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and pour into your ice filled glass and enjoy!
