1/2orangesliced
1/2applediced
1/4cupgranulated sugar
1750 ml bottle red wine (preferably Rioja or Tempranillo)
1/4cupbrandy

Instructions
Prepare the fruit: Add the sliced lemon, orange, and diced apple to a large pitcher.
Add sugar: Sprinkle the sugar over the fruit and gently muddle or stir to help release the juices.
Combine liquids: Pour in the red wine and brandy. Stir well until the sugar is mostly dissolved.
Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. For best flavor, chill overnight to allow the fruit to fully infuse.
Serve: Fill glasses with ice (optional), pour in the chilled sangria, and top each glass with a splash of club soda.
Finish: Stir gently and garnish with additional fruit if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
Make ahead: Sangria tastes better the longer it sits—overnight is ideal.
Wine choice: Use a dry, fruity red wine like Rioja or Tempranillo for the most authentic flavor.
Adjust sweetness: Add more or less sugar depending on your preference or the sweetness of your wine.
Customize fruit: Feel free to add berries, peaches, or nectarines for a seasonal twist.
Stronger version: Increase brandy slightly or add a splash of orange liqueur.
