Welcome to another edition of 10 Things I’m Lovin’ Right Now. It’s been a while since I posted one of these. I am finally getting back to writing again. I’ve had a hard time moving forward after my mom passed away.
I decided that it’s time to get back on the horse. I recently committed to a seven day blog challenge to force myself to write again. It has actually been quite healing for me.
Anyway, Here’s my list for this week. I hope you find something that brings you joy!
-
1. Music on Spotify
Music has always been a great healer of the soul. It can literally change the whole mood of your little world you are in. I recently was introduced to this channel on spotify called Coffee Shop Jazz Relax. It’s perfect for easing tensions and just, well, relaxing. I’m totally lovin’ it!

2. Berry Cobbler
Mmmmmm nothing says summer like fresh berry cobbler! It just brings back those childhood memories of picking a bucket full of berries at side of the road. Top it with some good ol’ fashioned homemade vanilla ice cream! Life just doesn’t get better than that!

3. Handmade Pottery
I am totally in love with this Thumb Mug. It makes a perfect cup for tea. Check out these other cool pieces at Joye Made Clay.
-
4. Spice Blends
I just love all of the ethnic spice blends that seem to be popping up in the spice aisle, almost daily, now. They are just so much fun to experiment with! Harissa, Za’atar, Peri Peri, Berbere, and the list goes on. So many flavors!

5. Lavazza Perfetto Coffee
I used to buy the Lavazza Classico which is their medium roast coffee. Then one day, while at the store, there wasn’t a bag to be found on the shelf. But they did have the Perfetto Dark Roast, Long story, short. I bought it and have never looked back. It really is Perfetto!

6. Italian Almond Cake
One of my most viewed recipes and one of my favorites to eat! And it pairs wonderfully with the coffee above. This cake is so delicious but perfectly simple to make. Warning, It’s highly addictive! Italian Almond Cake. Perfect for your Easter table.

7. Charcuterie Boards
One of my favorite things to eat, Charcuterie! And the boards that you can find these days are gorgeous works of art! I love the idea of serving on a beautiful board. It has such a rustic elegance about it. And they aren’t just for charcuterie anymore! I’m seeing beautiful breakfast boards, dessert boards and more. I’m loving this yummy fondue board! (pictured below)

8. Helvatia Farm Market
I Love everything about this place! Everything they sell is locally made in the Pacific NW. They carry amazing products, organic Veggies, farm raised meats, charcuterie, local wine and beer, coffee and pastries just to name a few. There is a covered patio where you can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee and take in the beautiful scenery. They also have a fire pit out back, chickens are roaming free as well as a cute farm dog or two. They host local events and farm tours as well. Click on the link to check it out Helvatia Market
- 9. Salads
I have been on this salad kick lately. Maybe it’s my anticipation of summer coming soon, and the weather has been really beautiful lately. I’m currently working on a delicious new salad recipe that I will be sharing next week. Here’s a sneak peek. Keep an eye out for it!
- 10. Tea
Have you been to an afternoon tea lately? A friend recently took me out for tea for my birthday and it was so much fun! Every kind of tea you can think of to choose from, cute little finger sandwiches, scones, and so many other little two-bite treats. It’s something everyone should experience at least once in their life.
That’s it for now I hope you found something you will enjoy too!

March 26, 2022 at 4:55 amI used to be a purist about spices and herbs. I mean, why on earth would one buy Italian seasoning? Or chili powder? It’s so easy and important to have all of the individual herbs and spices on hand. But I’ve gotten a lot of food gifts from friends, and many of them have been wonderful seasoning mixtures and I’m now hooked!
